Having earned much applause as the house band at "Club M" for eight years, then at "Cheers" for two years, they went out on the national Blues circuit with Josh Smith and earned a "Jammy" award for best blues band. The Rhino Cats have maintained a standard of excellence throughout.The Cats have added a whole new repertoire of "Classic and Modern Rock" as well as a variety of "R & B" and dance tunes. Bands covered include: Green Day, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Steve Miller, the Commodores, Pink Floyd, Lynard Skynard, Brian Setzer, ZZ Top, and many more.All songs include strong instrumentation and solos and the band is quite willing to play requests. The audience is guaranteed a good mix of old & new every time the band performs with strong vocals a trademark. The Rhino Cats almost always play as a trio with an occasional guest artist included which demonstrates their versatility to an audience.
